Early Help Provision at Dyson Perrins Church of England Academy
Early Help means providing support as soon as a problem appears, to stop it from getting worse.
This could be at any point of a child’s life; from birth to the teenage years. Everyone needs help at some time in their lives and therefore an ethos of early help is important for any school.
At Dyson Perrins’s we believe that early intervention for children or families, in many cases, will prevent children from experiencing harm and reaching crisis.
Please look through our Mental Health and Wellbeing information below to see how we can support you and your child/children during their time at Dyson Perrins.

Mental Health and Wellbeing
At Dyson Perrins Church or England Academy we are aware of the many challenges that our students face academically, emotionally and socially.
We are committed to supporting our students every step of the way through their journey at Dyson Perrins.
Our pastoral system offers a wide variety of internal support for our students and we have many external links to other agencies to which students and parents/carers can be signposted.
The initial contact for students will be their Form Tutor and/or the Head of Year. They can offer support and guidance for any issues and if necessary can refer or signpost them to further support packages/resources.
All of these services are available to our students and parents. Please follow the link below to read about our Wellbeing support.
