The Autumn term is full of scheduled House Challenges and some of these were completed in the last half term. Every point counts in this friendly competition!
Positive points received in lessons for being Ready, Respectful and Safe are tracked on Epraise and these are the current scores (8th of November) :
Events to score even more points were run as part of lessons, lunchtime activities or own time challenges.
We are pleased to announce that Grishma in Year 10 came 1st in the Identity Challenge designing a brilliant poster on Stephen Ballard, the man the House is named after. Archie W in Year 8 gained 1st place in the RE Harvest Poem Challenge. He wrote a very thoughtful poem reflecting on the good gifts that God provides. Well done to you both. Students also took part in online quizzes for the Hello Yellow and Parliament Week awareness days winning valuable points for their team for their participation.
We are also truly thankful for the generosity of the school community for providing dry goods that we could donate to Malvern Food bank and The Community Fridge. Ballard came first place with the number of items they donated, followed by Foley and Morgan who were joint second, closely followed by Morgan.
Cross country and History: causes of WW1 essays challenges were also participated in and we eagerly await the scores to further add to the totals.
Currently Mrs White is running the Esafety House Challenge in Computing for students in Year 8 and 9, full details can be found on Google Classroom. The deadline for submission is November 30th.
We look forward to tracking the continued successes in our House Challenge Competition...may the best House win!
