Hello! My name is Owen Godwin and I have recently been appointed Senior Student for Dyson Perrins Church of England Academy. I personally believe that Dysons is a wonderful, community-driven school that wants nothing but the best for its students. This is why I was delighted to find that my application for Senior Student had been successful. During my time here, the teachers have been incredibly supportive with my personal growth and academic development. In addition, I have enjoyed a multitude of extra-curricular opportunities such as computer club, after school basketball practise, and STEM club. STEM club was run by QinetiQ and our goal was to make a device that measured air pollution. It was fantastic! Overall, these opportunities have given me wonderful memories that have helped to extend my knowledge and enjoyment of school. I believe that Dysons has afforded me an experience unmatched by any other school. Also, Dysons has aided me greatly in preparing for the transition into college and has helped to ensure that I know career options ahead of me. At college, I intend to study fast-track Maths, Physics, and Psychology. I am particularly enjoying the challenge of both Maths and Physics lessons here at Dyson Perrins and I am looking forward to my future studies.
